Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Tapestry Calendar (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The service

Tapestry Calendar lets you subscribe to calendar sources (such as Google calendars and ICS feeds), edit and classify events without changing the original source, and publish merged calendar feeds that others can subscribe to. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Your account

You must provide accurate information and are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction (and at least 13). Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to violate any law or the rights of others.
• Connect or publish calendar data you don’t have the right to use or share.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service to distribute malware, spam, or unlawful, infringing, or abusive content.

Your content

You retain ownership of the calendars, events, and other content you bring to or create in the Service. You grant us the limited rights necessary to host, process, sync, transform, and display that content so we can operate the Service for you. You are responsible for the content you connect and for anything you choose to publish or share.

Third-party services

The Service integrates with third-party providers such as Google and the operators of any ICS feeds you add. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies, and your use of Google data within the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for third-party services or the availability or accuracy of the sources you connect.

Published feeds

If you publish an output feed, anyone with its URL can access the events in it without signing in. You are responsible for deciding what to publish and with whom to share feed URLs.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that synced data will always be accurate or complete. Do not rely on the Service as your sole record of important events.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tapestry Calendar and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
